“Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the P5+1 is making a ‘historic mistake’ with the Iran nuclear deal.
“‘I will refer later to the details of the agreement, but before that, I would like to say here and now – when you are willing to make an agreement at any cost, this is the result,’ Netanyahu said at a meeting today with Netherlands Foreign Minister Bert Koenders.
“From the initial reports we can already conclude that this agreement is an historic mistake for the world.”
The prime minister stressed that ‘far-reaching concessions have been made in all areas that were supposed to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons cap bility.’
“‘In addition, Iran will receive hundreds of billions of dollars with which it can fuel its terror machine and its expansion and aggression throughout the Middle East and across the globe,’ he said.
“‘One cannot prevent an agreement when the negotiators are willing to make more and more concessions to those who, even during the talks, keep chanting: ‘Death to America.’”

John Batchelor: Iran Tuesday 14 July 2015 / Hour 1, Block A: Bill Whalen, Hoover Institution, A Day at the Races, in re: Mrs Clinton began backchannel for Iran talks through Sultan of Oman [Sultan Qaboos, currently unwell], She authorized the war in Iraq in 2003 – as a politically viable thing to do – and will not be caught again doing this. In this race she’ll be Left at all times. Better that the Iran deal be sprung on her now than later. Does Harry Reid control 34 votes in the Senate and Mrs Pelosi 100+ in the House? Mrs Clinton changed directions on the TPP – and discreetly said zero at voting time. Note that Chuck Schumer said he can’t support a deal without spot inspections – which this deal does not. GOP ought to hold hearings on the Iran deal and request that Mrs Clinton attend all of them. Yesterday, she gave a speech and named names: the three leading candidates for GOP – Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio. Tuesday 14 July 2015 / Hour 1, Block B: Bill Whalen, Hoover Institution, A Day at the Races, in re: Scott Walker went to London was asked abt evolution, choked for three days. If you had the debate tomorrow, you’d get a clear answer. Rick Perry. Scott Walker. At present, Mr Trump tops the field with his [uncareful] comments. Anderson, and Perot, eke Buchanan, were exciting initially than merely [drained away votes. Trump – and possibly others – could take away 5% of the vote. Tuesday 14 July 2015 / Hour 1, Block C: Kori Schake, Hoover, in re: the Iranian revolutionary Guard Corps is an active enemy of America – running military ops in a half-dozen counties The end of sanctions in the Iran deal is supposed to keep people charged with terrorist, arms movements and the like, are to remain on the sanctioned list. Not so. As for Soleimani, __. A lot more than $150 Bil – will also sell oil, and transact commerce in dollars again – will bring in a huge amount of money of which the principal beneficiaries will be not the citizenry – it’s a kelptocracy – but the IRGC. We could make it possible for ordinary Iranians to become beneficiaries, but this deal doesn’t. Assad has already said that he cheers on the deal – “It’s wonderful” – so Iran can bankroll his slaughter. Ben Rhodes said this past spring that inspections will be “any time, anywhere” – but that’s not in the document. White House is now desperately trying to expunge Ben Rhodes’s April emissions. Oops. Now it’s “Managed access.” Military sites: IAEA will have to make requests to the Iranian regime, which will have 14 days to think; then we can take it to a commission of Russians, Chinese, and others to adjudicate. Members chosen are those who can keep a straight face while deliberating. US B1’s are in combat over Iraq all the time – deliver weapons that keep Kurds, Yazidis, safe from their enemies. Iran’s mullahs have a vision for the future that will be a disaster for Iran, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and the Gulf states. We need to push Iran back in the box and retaliate for violence; we need to target Iran’s active destabilization work. Its obtaining nuclear weapons has terrified the entire region. Tuesday 14 July 2015 / Hour 1, Block D: Michael Ledeen, FDD, in re: the suspect secret nuclear weapons dvpt in Iran. Omasr Sharif was a brilliant bridge player and an excellent friend. The Iran deal in Vienna: they’ve constructed the fog of diplomacy that no one can solve; not inn purpose except that Pres Obama desperately wants an agreement: it’s like a battered wife – every time Iran spits in his face, he says “Don’t worry, it’ll be all right.” This agreement is what he was able to get in the end; a no-deal deal. No one has signed it, and it still has to be approved by the US, EU, China, Russia and the Iranian parliament. Some details seem to be illegal in Iran: visiting mil sites, speaking to mil ofcrs, et al. Last time Kerry returned from Geneva, Khamenei said, “This thing is no good.” Here we have “Implementation Day,” when everybody will formally have approved – which might never happen. What Pres Obama deeply wants is to get on a plane, fly to Teheran, walk across a red carpet, and hug Khamenei. On Quds Day very recently, Khamenei was leading vast chants of, “Death to America.” They haven’t released even one hostage; to rub it in, they put the Washington Post reporter jailed there back into the courtroom. In strikingly defensive remarks, Pres Obama said, “Very little of the money will go to terrorist activity.” A) He has no information on that, is talking through his hat, and B) that ‘s quite unlikely Executions and torture have increased under Khamenei. The yet-undecided specifics are still to be hashed out by yet more committees; negotiations will go on endlessly. Our allies are rushing to sign bz deals with Iran. Boeing has been in Iran refurbishing Iranian aircraft; we’re already in up to our necks. Obama doesn’t care what Congress says or does; It’d be nice if Congress went throughout this document and raised real questions. WaPo: if you want an end to the Iranian nuclear program, you need regime change. . .”
Bret Stephens, WSJ: “The Best Arguments for an Iran Deal”
“The heroic assumptions, and false premises, of our diplomacy.
“In formal rhetoric, prolepsis means the anticipation of possible objections to an argument for the sake of answering them. So let’s be proleptic about the Iranian nuclear deal, whose apologists are already trotting out excuses for this historic diplomatic debacle.
“The heroic case. Sure, Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is an irascible and violent revolutionary bent on imposing a dark ideology on his people and his neighborhood. Much the same could be said of Mao Zedong when Henry Kissinger paid him a visit in 1971—a diplomatic gamble that paid spectacular dividends as China became a de facto U.S. ally in the Cold War and opened up to the world under Deng Xiaoping.
“But the hope that Iran is the new China fails a few tests.
“Mao faced an overwhelming external threat from the Soviet Union. Iran faces no such threat and is winning most of its foreign proxy wars. Beijing ratcheted down tensions with Washington with friendly table-tennis matches. Tehran ratchets them up by locking up American citizens and seizing cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz. Deng Xiaoping believed that to get rich is glorious. Iranian President Hasan Rouhani, a supposed reformer, spent last Friday marching prominently in the regime’s yearly “Death to America, Death to Israel” parade. . .”
If there is evidence of an Iranian trend toward moderation it behooves proponents of a deal to show it. . .:
Ben Shapiro, National Security: “Everything You Need to Know about Obama’s Iran Deal”
“. . . Obama had one motivation in this deal: he believes that any Western attempt to stop Iran’s nuclear development with force is more dangerous and less moral than Iran’s elevated terror support and even its eventual nuclear development.
“America and the West, in Obama’s global worldview, are so dangerous that he wouldn’t even make minor requests of Iran, such as releasing American prisoners, if that meant the minute possibility of actual Western action on the horizon. Obama doesn’t care if Iran is lying. To him, that risk is acceptable when compared with the certainty of Western action, no matter how constrained, against Iran.
“Obama consistently posed the choice about his nuclear deal as one between diplomacy and war, as though a military strike against Iran would have precipitated World War III. But this deal is far more calibrated to provoke World War III than any targeted strike by Israel, the United States, or anyone else.
“The deal pats itself on the back with wording about ensuring that ‘Iran’s nuclear programme will be exclusively peaceful,’ and how the deal will be a ‘fundamental shift’ in the international community’s relationship with Iran. Then it gets to details. And the devil isn’t just in the details; the devils in Iran wrote them.
“The deal ‘will produce the comprehensive lifting of all UN Security Council sanctions as well as multilateral and national sanctions related to Iran’s nuclear programme, including steps on access in areas of trade, technology, finance and energy.’ Those sanctions end on the first day of the deal: ‘The UN Security Council resolution will also provide for the termination on Implementation Day of provisions imposed under previous resolutions.’ The EU ‘will terminate all provisions of the EU Regulation.’
“Money will now move between “EU persons and entities, including financial institutions, and Iranian persons and entities, including financial institutions.” Banking activities will resume abroad. Full trade will essentially resume. After five years, the arms embargo against Iran will end. After eight years, the missile embargo against Iran will end.
“The deal explicitly acknowledges that Iran is gaining benefits no other state would gain under the Non-Proliferation Treaty. In terms of its nuclear development, instead of dismantling Iran’s nuclear program, that program is now protected . . .”

Mark Levin (7/13/15)
“On Monday’s Mark Levin Show: The only thing more predictable than left wing arguments is the inability of the Republicans to respond to them. Nobody ever makes the case for Conservative principles and juxtapose them with the liberal mindset. President Obama claims Medicare and Social Security aren’t in crises despite contradicting reports from the trustees that run the programs. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton and the hard left constantly make promises about how they can perfect mankind and our imperfect institutions. Their answer is always the same, surrender more liberty and do as you’re told.
“Also, Bill Clinton armed North Korea with nuclear weapons, and President Obama is doing the same for Iran. The deal being cut by Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry is not enforceable. Russia and China won’t go along with snap inspections because they benefit from the deal too. This is just another problem that Obama will leave for the next president to deal with.”
Dave Boyer, Washington Times: “Obama: Iran’s pathways to a nuclear weapon cut off”
Another step in his campaign for his next job . . . and Pakistan will sell whatever Iran cannot build. Jarrett take notes!
“Every pathway to a nuclear weapon is cut off,” Mr. Obama said in an early-morning address at the White House. “This deal is not built on trust. It is built on verification.”
“The president said the lack of an agreement would lead to a nuclear-arms race in the Middle East. He asked Congress, which will have 60 days to review the agreement, to ‘consider what happens in a world without’ the deal.
“‘We give nothing up by testing whether this problem can be solved peacefully,’ Mr. Obama said. ‘No deal means a greater chance of more war in the Middle East. No deal means no lasting constraints on Iran’s nuclear program. The world will not support an effort to permanently sanction Iran into submission.’
“The president said the agreement ‘demonstrates that American diplomacy can bring about real and meaningful change.’
“‘We have stopped the spread of nuclear weapons in this region,’ he said.
“Somewhere Frank Marshall Davis must be smiling. Barack Obama toasted what he always wanted, the decline of the West, as our president finally rolled over and made a big nuclear deal with Iran, giving the ayatollah virtually everything he could have dreamed of, let alone needed — including control over nuclear inspections, making them meaningless — and getting nothing in return.
‘I have said from the beginning of this process that I would not support a deal with Iran that allows the mullahs to retain the ability to develop nuclear weapons, threaten Israel, and continue their regional expansionism and support for terrorism. Based on what we know thus far, I believe that this deal undermines our national security. President Obama has consistently negotiated from a position of weakness, giving concession after concession to a regime that has American blood on its hands, holds Americans hostage, and has consistently violated every agreement it ever signed. I expect that a significant majority in Congress will share my skepticism of this agreement and vote it down. Failure by the President to obtain congressional support will tell the Iranians and the world that this is Barack Obama’s deal, not an agreement with lasting support from the United States. It will then be left to the next President to return us to a position of American strength and re-impose sanctions on this despicable regime until it is truly willing to abandon its nuclear ambitions and is no longer a threat to international security’

Leo Knepper, CAP: “Never-Ending Campaign of Intimidation”
“After vetoing the budget because the legislature refused to raise taxes on Pennsylvanians, Governor Wolf has unleashed the attack dogs. Leading the pack is America Works, USA. This “dark money” group is affiliated with the Democratic Governors Association (DGA). Although America Works does not disclose its donors, the DGA does. Four out of the Top Five donors to the DGA are government unions. According to OpenSecrets.org, the top four unions contributed over $13 million to the DGA in 2014 alone.
America Works, USA has targeted a number of Representatives and Senators including Senator Scott Wagner. He has been an outspoken critic of the Governor’s tax and spend policies. Wagner has also been a vocal supporter of pension reform and ending the practice of using tax dollars to collect union dues. The mailer (which you can see here and here) accuses Wagner and others of having the wrong priorities. Considering that the government unions filling the DGA’s coffers survive off of tax dollars, it’s easy to understand why they think more spending and higher taxes is the right way to go. “However, the taxpayers of Pennsylvania know otherwise.
“The attempted intimidation doesn’t end there. Other CAP members, including Representatives Jason Ortitay and Aaron Kaufer have had union members showing up at their office demanding that they vote for higher taxes. Their encounters have been largely civil. However, the same cannot be said for Senator John Eichelberger. Eichelberger has had to call the police to report the intimidation tactics undertaken by members of the teachers’ union who want him to reverse his position on pension reform. . .”
Andrew Staub, PA Independent: “PA legislator reloads bill allowing NRA to sue over local gun laws”
“HARRISBURG, Pa. — Legislative gymnastics doomed a 2014 law that allowed interest groups such as the National Rifle Association to sue local municipalities over their firearms ordinances, but a central Pennsylvania lawmaker is reloading the legislation.
State Rep. Mark Keller, R-Perry, plans to reintroduce it as a standalone bill after the Commonwealth Court ruled last month the General Assembly violated the state constitution when it attached the law to a bill about scrap-metal theft. Pennsylvania’s constitution limits most legislation to a single subject.
“Passing the bill on its own will alleviate the problem, Keller said, stressing the content of the legislation was not the issue.
“‘It wasn’t thrown out because it was bad legislation or unconstitutional,’ Keller said of the gun-related legislation. ‘That wasn’t the factor, so don’t let people hang their hat on that issue.’
“Plus, Keller noted, the state already has a preemption law that says “no county, municipality or township may in any manner regulate the lawful ownership, possession, transfer or transportation of firearms, ammunition or ammunition components when carried or transported for purposes not prohibited by the laws of this Commonwealth.”
“Supporters believe the law would stop the proliferation of patchwork gun regulations that could make law-abiding gun owners criminals when they visit a municipality and are unaware of different ordinances. . .”
Nick Field, PoliticsPA: “Kane Charges Ex-Harrisburg Mayor with 499 Criminal Counts”
“Well, this isn’t something you see every day.
“Attorney General Kathleen Kane announced the arrest of former Harrisburg Mayor Stephen Reed today.
“‘This is one of the most disturbing cases of public corruption this office has investigated,’ Attorney General Kane said. ‘Mayor Reed used taxpayer money to further his own interests. His conduct is at the root of the fiscal issues that continue to plague the City of Harrisburg today.’
“‘In order for the City of Harrisburg to continue its financial recovery, it is imperative that its citizens have a clear picture of the past.’
“Kane ultimately unveiled a list of 499 criminal counts against Reed:
2 counts of corrupt organizations (F-1).
2 counts of dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities (F-1).
2 counts of theft by deception (F-1).
20 counts of theft by receiving stolen property (F-2).
20 counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (F-2).
1 count of theft by deception (F-2).
7 counts of bribery in official and political matters (F-3).
29 counts of theft by receiving stolen property (F-3).
29 counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (F-3).
3 counts of theft of services (F-3).
1 count of theft by deception (F-3).
110 counts of theft by receiving stolen property (M-1).
110 counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (M-1).
158 counts of misapplication of entrusted property and property of government or financial institutions (M-2).
1 count of deceptive business practices (M-2).
3 counts of criminal solicitation (M-2).
1 count of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence (M-2)
“One of Reed’s hobbies was apparently buying artifacts. It would also appear that the former Harrisburg Mayor is a horror fan as in his house there were: a life-sized sarcophagus, a full suit of armor and a ‘vampire hunting kit’.
“These items were found when agents from the AG’s office raided Reed’s home last month.
“‘I hear the rumors around Harrisburg, and I sometimes think the rumor mill is akin to middle school sometimes,’ she stated.”

Colleen Nelson & Byron Tau, WSJ: “Obama Cuts Sentences of 46 Drug Offenders”
“President says ‘their punishments didn’t fit the crime’
“WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama commuted the sentences of 46 drug offenders Monday, saying that “their punishments didn’t fit the crime,” in a move to align some older criminal sentences with current law.
“The action brings Mr. Obama’s commutations count to 89, more than the last four presidents combined. Most of the people granted clemency Monday were serving time for cocaine-related offenses that now carry shorter sentences than when they were convicted.
“The president noted that if sentenced under today’s laws, nearly all of the inmates would have served their time. Their sentences now will expire Nov. 10.
“‘These men and women were not hardened criminals,’ Mr. Obama said in a video statement. ‘But the overwhelming majority had been sentenced to at least 20 years; 14 of them had been sentenced to life for nonviolent drug offenses.’. . .”

“SHOCK VIDEO: Planned Parenthood sells dead baby body parts
“The video is gruesome and appalling.
“It purportedly shows a Planned Parenthood executive sipping a glass of wine in a Los Angeles restaurant while casually explaining how they sell body parts from aborted babies.
“The undercover video was filmed in July 2014 by the Center for Medical Progress, an advocacy group that reports on medical ethics. They dispatched two actors posing as representatives of a human biologics company to a business lunch with Deborah Nucatola, Planned Parenthood’s senior director of medical services.
“The video shows Nucatola describing in graphic detail how abortionists are able to arvest organs from aborted babies based on the parts that are needed.
“‘Yesterday was the first time she said people wanted lungs,’ she told the undercover buyers. ‘Some people want lower extremities, too, which, that’s simple. That’s easy. I don’t know what they’re doing with it, I guess if they want muscle.’
“To which one of the fake buyer’s replied, ‘Yeah – a dime a dozen.’
“‘I’d say a lot of people want liver,’ Nucatola said. ‘And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they’ll know where they’re putting their forceps.’
She went on to describe how they are able to acquire other organs without “crushing” them.
“‘We’ve been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I’m not gonna crush that part, I’m gonna basically crush below, I’m gonna crush above, and I’m gonna see if I can get it all intact.’ . . .”
The Hillary . . .
Washington Times: “Hillary’s practiced deceptions”
“. . . Lies are to Washington what cars once were to Detroit. In our own time Bonnie and Clod have made deceivers fashionable, demonstrating that speaking in fable is no dishonor.
Hillary, aka Bonnie, the presumptive Democratic nominee for president, is trying to see whether she can successfully follow Bubba’s example with her passionate denial that she ever got a subpoena from the congressional committee investigating the magic private email server she used when she was the secretary of State. She isn’t as adept at it as Bubba was, with his aw, shucks, good ol’ boy charm. Few pols are. But the larger question is whether Americans in 2015 will let her get by with this abuse of the facts. The answer will say as much about the nation as it does about her.
She cast herself into the trap. In her first full-fledged TV interview since she announced officially, she assured CNN correspondent Brianna Keilar that she had received no subpoena directing her to produce the electronic messages that she had stored on her personal server at home, rather than on official State Department computers. “I’ve never had a subpoena,” she said. ‘Everything I did was permitted by law and regulation. Now, I didn’t have to turn over anything. I chose to turn over 55,000 pages because I wanted to go above and beyond what was expected of me because I knew the vast majority of everything that was official already was in the State Department system.’
Those specific words didn’t fool a former prosecutor who hasn’t allowed his current job as a congressman cloud his understanding of the law. The next day Rep. Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, issued a sharply worded rebuttal of Mrs. Clinton’s subpoena denial. “The committee has issued several subpoenas, but I have not sought to make them public,” said Mr. Gowdy. ‘I would not make this one public now, but after Secretary Clinton falsely claimed the committee did not subpoena her, I have no choice [but] to correct the inaccuracy.’ . . .”

A very worthwhile class to take! Janet
York PA Political Leadership School
STARTS ON SATURDAY, JUL 18, 2015 – 9:00 AM
Thank you for your interest in FACL’s Political Leadership School.
This is not a class on political philosophy or ideas. This is practical, no nonsense and tested information on how to be effective in politics.
This intense one-day training covers:
The Real Nature of Politics – why just “educating” people alone won’t result in change
The Biggest Lie in Politics – and how the political class uses your convictions against you
How to work effectively at the Capitol – getting a bill sponsor and a roll call vote despite the leadership
How to build a group – putting pressure on legislators
All of our instructors have years of experience putting these principles to work in multiple states. They have worked for the cause of freedom with organizations such as National Right to Work Committee, National Pro-Life Alliance, National Association for Gun Rights, and Campaign for Liberty as well as federal, state and local campaigns, including major presidential campaigns, and successful campaigns for U.S. Senate and Congress. They know what works, and also what has been proven not to work in getting politicians to vote right.
This class will teach you how to turn your passion into effective action.
We sincerely hope you can join us.

“I received this this morning and am forwarding it on. It is important that we contact our own U.S. Senators and also Sen. Lamar Alexander and Sen. Patty Murray and ask them to withdraw Bill – S. 1177 and conduct hearings that include parents. They may be voting on this bill very soon, possibly Tuesday, July 7. Talking points and more information are attached, but the important thing now is to contact them and tell them to withdraw it and conduct hearings that include parents, even if you do not include detailed reasons why.
“Note that you can obtain phone numbers and methods of contacting these senators by E-mail from the following web site:
The following is what I’ve received from reliable sources:
“I’m forwarding the attached talking points from American Principle’s Project that explain how Senators Patty Murray and Lamar Alexander’s bill, The Every Child Achieves Act, actually solidifies the components of the common core state standards initiative into federal law if the bill passes the Congress and is signed into law.
Note especially, item #8 of the attached talking points written by American Principles Project attorney, Jane Robbins:
- ECAA contains a requirementfor states to “demonstrate” that the state standards are “aligned” to the same criteria used to establish Common Core: “entrance requirements, without the need for academic remediation, for the system of public higher education.” Any prohibition included to stop USED from coercing states to use Common Core or other specific standards is meaningless. USED won’t have to force anything, because alignment to the same criteria as “college-and-career-ready” is a requirement of the bill. Sec. 1111(b)(1)(D)(i)-(ii).
Also, below is link to a YouTube post featuring Dr. Sandra Stotsky and a mother of two children urging that the senate hold public hearings that include parent testimonies.
Please view this short 3-minute long message and ask your FB or e-mail group members to contact Senators Lamar Alexander and Patty Murray to withdraw the bill and conduct hearings that include parents.
Please share with ALL your mailing lists, encourage ALL their members to call their senators @ 202-224-3121, as soon as possible, and post on ALL Facebook pages as well as send message via email / Facebook / Twitter to ALL your U.S. Senators, and this could include both Senators Lamar Alexander and Patty Murray.
