D.C. McCallister, PJM: “No, Voting for Trump Is Not Idolatry—Speaking Truth to Christians”

“Many evangelicals and Catholics have been guilty in this election of casting baseless judgments and aspersions on fellow believers. This vilification has been leveled with such a fevered and mob-like malevolence that the fundamental commandment to love your brother has been all but shredded. No doubt, the devil is laughing even as Jesus grieves.

“The gist of the conflict is that Christians, who have decided that Donald Trump is so evil and immoral that any vote for him is to approve of and even become complicit in his sin, are questioning not only the character but the salvation of those who support the GOP candidate.

“This condemnation encompasses even those reluctant and melancholy warriors for conservatism who are voting for him as a strategy to stop the advancement of a leftist political agenda that dominates a corrupt Democratic Party—an agenda that actually (not potentially) devalues life, disregards our laws, creates a culture of dependency, suppresses free speech and religious liberty, puts our nation at risk from passive and active invasion, and bankrupts our nation. . .”

Roger Simon, PJM: “Free the FBI 100!”

“For those concerned above all with what’s left of the rule of law in our republic, the most important dispatch of this nauseating campaign season has been Fox News’ “FBI, DOJ roiled by Comey, Lynch decision to let Clinton slide by on emails, says insider.”

“Many of you may have read the first few  paragraphs of this article before, but they’re worth reading again for purposes of discussion:

‘The decision to let Hillary Clinton off the hook for mishandling classified information has roiled the FBI and Department of Justice, with one person closely involved in the year-long probe telling that career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.

‘The source, who spoke to on the condition of anonymity, said FBI Director James Comey’s dramatic July 5 announcement that he would not recommend to the Attorney General’s office that the former secretary of state be charged left members of the investigative team dismayed and disgusted. More than 100 FBI agents and analysts worked around the clock with six attorneys from the DOJ’s National Security Division, Counter Espionage Section, to investigate the case.

‘No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute — it was a top-down decision,’ said the source, whose identity and role in the case has been verified by”

LA Times: 44.2 Donald, 43.9 Hillary

James Brody, Why not Hillary and BO’s next job?

Every politician or government worker eyes his/her chances for promotion! Issues:

Our military (Russia, China, Iran, North Korea)

$19 trillion deficit

College loans

US Supreme Court

Climate management

Energy: we have enough for centuries!

A Conservative rather than a Republican Congress

A border that does its job, not a “no boundaries” affair

Islam recognized as invidious, destructive, and a nest for future terrorists/rapists

Clean out the Justice Department and the FBI

Retrieve ICANN

Keep our guns

Local control of schools (Keep Bill Gates out of them!)

Break up Obama Care!

Kimberley Strassel, WSJ: “The Press Buries Hillary Clinton’s Sins”

“The Obama administration—the federal government, supported by tax dollars—was working as an extension of the Clinton campaign. The State Department coordinated with her staff in responding to the email scandal, and the Justice Department kept her team informed about developments in the court case.

“Worse, Mrs. Clinton’s State Department, as documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show, took special care of donors to the Clinton Foundation. . .”

“As reporters focus on Trump, they miss new details on Clinton’s rotten record.

If average voters turned on the TV for five minutes this week, chances are they know thatDonald Trump made lewd remarks a decade ago and now stands accused of groping women.

But even if average voters had the TV on 24/7, they still probably haven’t heard the news about Hillary Clinton: That the nation now has proof of pretty much everything she has been accused of.

It comes from hacked emails dumped by WikiLeaks, documents released under the Freedom of Information Act, and accounts from FBI insiders. The media has almost uniformly ignored the flurry of bombshells, preferring to devote its front pages to the Trump story. So let’s review what amounts to a devastating case against a Clinton presidency.

Start with a June 2015 email to Clinton staffers from Erika Rottenberg, the former general counsel of LinkedIn. Ms. Rottenberg wrote that none of the attorneys in her circle of friends “can understand how it was viewed as ok/secure/appropriate to use a private server for secure documents AND why further Hillary took it upon herself to review them and delete documents.” She added: “It smacks of acting above the law and it smacks of the type of thing I’ve either gotten discovery sanctions for, fired people for, etc.”

“A few months later, in a September 2015 email, a Clinton confidante fretted that Mrs. Clinton was too bullheaded to acknowledge she’d done wrong. ‘Everyone wants her to apologize,’ wrote Neera Tanden, president of the liberal Center for American Progress. ‘And she should. Apologies are like her Achilles’ heel.”

“Clinton staffers debated how to evade a congressional subpoena of Mrs. Clinton’s emails—three weeks before a technician deleted them. . .”

Peggy Noonan, WSJ: “America’s Decadent Leadership Class”

“Putin doesn’t respect them, and they don’t like half the American people.

“It is quite dreadful and a showing of the gravest disrespect that, if U.S. intelligence agencies are correct, Russia’s Vladimir Putin has inserted himself into America’s presidential election. And it could not have deeper implications.

If Russia is indeed behind the leaks of the emails of Democratic Party operatives Mr. Putin may have many reasons, as he often does, but the most frightening would be that he views the current American political leadership class as utterly decadent and unworthy of traditional diplomatic norms and boundaries. And, thinks, therefore, it deserves what it gets.

“Why would he find them decadent—morally hollowed out, unserious? That is the terrible part: because he knows them. . .”

Rushbo: “Top Bombshells in the WikiLeaks Clinton Emails”

“. . . here we have in the Clinton WikiLeaks email dump clear evidence of Donna Brazile passing on questions that are going to be asked of Mrs. Clinton in a debate with Bernie Sanders. She’s a DNC — well, she wasn’t then.  She’s always a high-ranking DNC operative.  She was working at CNN as an analyst or commentator, what have you.  Now, she’s denying it.  “I never saw the questions, I never passed them on.”  But the WikiLeaks email has the question in it, and people checked the question that was asked, and they’re almost verbatim!

“And the Clintons and everybody that works for them are denying everything.  Well, they’re not.  That’s it, they’re not denying.  They’re just blaming the Russians for the hack.  And they’re claiming that, ‘This is outrageous, these are stolen emails and the Russians did it, and the Russians are trying to influence the outcome of an American election.  This is a despicable thing, and they’re doing it to try to help Trump.’

“The Russians, meanwhile, are not happy being accused of this kind of thing.  The KGB is an honorable organization, they will gladly take credit for whatever it is they disrupt, but they don’t like being falsely accused of stuff (!!! emph added, jb), and Putin — (interruption) well, in the sense, yeah, they’re honorable in the sense that you know who they are, they know who they are, and you know what’s gonna happen to you if you run afoul of them.  They make no pretense. They’re not hiding there as the Red Cross, you know, doing what they do. . .”

“LEAKED EMAIL: Podesta Tells Hillary to Court ‘Needy Latinos’, Calls Latino Governor A ‘D***’

“Hillary Clinton might have some issues with latino voters after this one.

In WikiLeaks’ most recent dump of emails from John Podesta, the Clinton Campaign chairman encourages Hillary to reach out to the voting block, calling them “needy.”

In an email from August of 2015 with the subject line “Needy Latinos and 1 easy call”, Podesta encourages Clinton aid Huma Abedin to tell Clinton to consider calling former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and former Energy Secretary Federico Pena and ask personally for their endorsement. In the process, Podesta also calls Richardson a “dick.”

“I had heard that you were upset that I encouraged a call between WJC and Richardson to bury the hatchet”‘ Podesta wrote to Abedin. “Richardson is still on TV a lot, especially on Univision and Telemundo and not withstanding the fact that he can be a dick, it was worth getting him in a good place.”
