Janet: Sample Ballot

Here is a list of districts in Chester County to see your sample ballot for Nov. 8. Please note the second page! Vote NO on this item. They are trying to increase the retirement age of judges. (Their next job?)

The Pa. Constitution already has a mandatory retirement age of 70!

On the Montgomery ballot it’s the question on the right side.

“You know, last night, I called Hillary a nasty woman. But this stuff is all relative. After listening to Hillary rattle on and on and on, I don’t think so badly of Rosie O’Donnell anymore. In fact, I’m actually starting to like Rosie a lot.”

Tyler Durden, ZeroHedge: “Wikileaks Taunts Democrats, Tweets “It Has a Surprise in Store” for Tim Kaine and Donna Brazile”

“. . . Prior to tweeting this, the Wikileaks twitter account mocked Hillary’s statement that 17 agencies have confirmed Russia hacked the US when it said that Hillary Clinton’s  “17 US intelligence agencies” include:
Coast Guard, DEA, Navel Intelligence, Department of Energy, Air Force recon, and then added that “Clinton’s “17 US intelligence agencies” may be the biggest, most immediately disprovable wopper ever intentionally made during a debate.”

Hillary Clinton’s “17 US intelligence agencies” include:

*Navel [sic!] Intelligence
*Department of Energy
*Air Force recon

It is now quite clear that it has gotten very personal between Assange and Clinton, and if the latter is elected president in less than 3 weeks, that drone strike on Julian which Hillary does not remember “joking about”, may suddenly materialize.”

Rasmussen: “White House Watch: Still A Close One”

“Early results from their final debate are in, and Donald Trump remains barely ahead of Hillary Clinton in the White House Watch.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey of Likely U.S. Voters finds Trump with a 43% to 41% lead over his Democratic rival. Five percent (5%) favor Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson, while Green Party nominee Jill Stein earns three percent (3%) support. Another three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Yesterday, Trump was ahead by three. The lead has been shifting back and forth since late last week.

Rushbo: “Trump’s Answer to the Rigged Election Question Is the Reason He’s in This Race”

“So Trump says, “No.  I’m gonna keep my options open.  I don’t know what’s gonna happen.”  The only sensible answer there is to that question the Democrats, the whole debate, prior to the debate, whining and moaning about rigged elections ’cause the Russians are trying to screw ’em because the Russians are releasing emails that Podesta sent to everybody under the sun, so the Russians are what?  Trying to cheat.  Who is it that’s alleging rigged elections?  Who is it that’s trying to defuse the truth coming out about them by blaming it on the Russians trying to rig elections?  It’s our good buddies and good friends the Democrats and their fellows in journalism.”

“Trump’s whole reason for running is wrapped up in his answer to that question last night.  This is what I mean when I ask, do they not understand why the guy’s running?  Do they not understand why the guy’s got support?  Do they not understand why millions and millions of Americans have invested in Trump to the point that they don’t care about traditional political faux pas and they still hang with the guy?  Do they not understand why? To this moment do they not understand why, or are they in unison somehow, all of them ignoring what they all know and trying to position this as something other than what it is?

“If Trump would have answered that question, “Yeah, sure, whatever happens, I’m cool with it,” his supporters would have been deflated, and that might have been the moment when some of them began to desert him.  He had no choice.  But I don’t even think he consciously thought it was a choice.  He was instinctively answering the question, and his answer is exactly why he’s in this race.

“He’s trying to wrest control of the country and the government from an elite cabal of establishment types who are trying desperately to hold on to it with everything they’ve got.  It is a real fight.  It is a real brawl.  And Donald Trump got into it specifically knowing why and what he was doing.  And for him to announce last night, “Oh, yeah, yeah, whatever you guys end up doing with this election, sure I’ll accept, I’ll announce right now that I accept it.”

Rushbo: “Villain of the O’Keefe Videos Visited the White House 340 Times”

“Project Veritas, James O’Keefe, the videos that prove Democrat corruption, that prove it’s the Democrat Party, the Hillary campaign that was responsible for all of the protests at Trump rallies, James O’Keefe can’t believe his videos aren’t being covered.  He can’t believe that his videos are being ignored by the Drive-By Media.  He fully expected to be guesting on all kinds of shows with his videos being shown to the nation.  He can’t believe it.”

“You know what? This Robert Creamer guy that Scott Foval — we played the videotape from the videos from James O’Keefe yesterday, and this Scott Foval with direct contact to the Hillary campaign reporting to this guy Creamer, who also had direct access to the Hillary campaign, he’s the husband of Democrat Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. He is the architect. He was the guru. He was the guy that all of these underlings looked to for inspiration.

“It turns out that this guy who oversaw the Trump rally agitators visited the White House 342 times and had something like 47 person-to-person meetings with Obama.  But it’s just coincidence, you see.  Oh, yes.  Creamer, by the way, has now resigned his position as Foval has been fired from his position.  But they’re just gonna be lateral moved someplace.  They don’t get fired.  They actually get bonuses and awards and accolades, like Dan Rather did for trying the fake story on the National Guard against George W. Bush. . .”

Laura Ingraham, Lifezette: “NeverTrump Agonistes: Trump is the Only Pro-Life Choice”

“Supporting the GOP nominee is the only hope of saving innocent life

“Now that we are done with the presidential debates, with just a few weeks until Election Day, the choice for the country could not be more stark. Hillary Clinton promises to continue the economic and foreign policy path of Barack Obama, which has weakened our country and emboldened our enemies. By expanding government spending, forgiving student loan debt, granting amnesty to millions of illegals, raising taxes, continuing with Obamacare, Madam President would massively pile on debt to a nation already leveraged to the hilt.

“As for Donald Trump, he will streamline government, cut taxes, incentivize businesses to bring assets back to the U.S., retire Obamacare, renegotiate bad trade deals, shut off illegal immigration, and begin a new, more pragmatic approach to foreign affairs. On those factors alone, he should be the obvious choice for anyone who thinks America is heading in the wrong direction.

“Yet there are still some Republicans — including prominent figures such as Jeb Bush and John Kasich — who can still not bring themselves to live up to their pledge to support their party’s nominee. They cite not only his temperament but his “failure to show any capacity to learn about conservatism.”

“They should have taken notice, however, that Trump, on stage in Las Vegas Wednesday, clearly demonstrated that he has really learned something significant about the issue of abortion. Killing babies, especially those in the latter stages of pregnancy — no matter how Mrs. Clinton tried to justify it — is evil.

“For any Republican or independent who believes late-term abortion is a moral evil, these are the facts . . .”

“The establishment can’t win

“Citizen journalism and social media has overpowered the collapsing, discredited mainstream media, says Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe.

“You are seeing social media and the grassroots in this country become more powerful than the mainstream media,” O’Keefe said on The Alex Jones Show Thursday. “We’re the social media barbarians at the gates.”

“Because the bombshell Project Veritas videos are receiving enormous online attention, the mainstream media is now forced to do their job and cover it after Republican nominee Donald Trump brought them up at the final presidential debate and people “flooded their inboxes.”

“If they air this stuff, the election’s over,” O’Keefe added. . .”

Kevin  Williamson, NRO: “Mrs. Clinton affirms her commitment to political censorship.”

“During the final presidential debate, Hillary Rodham Clinton declared herself a totalitarian. She did not use that word, of course, but that was the substance of her remarks.

“She began by arguing that the Supreme Court, and lesser federal courts, should be political partisans who take sides in disputes rather than adjudicate them according to the law. Many politicians — perhaps even most — believe that, or act in a way that suggests they do, but most of them feel at least the need to shamefacedly insist that judges are there to impartially apply the law. Not Mrs. Clinton. The Supreme Court that exists in her mind is the worst version of the highest judicial body, which is to say the American answer to Iran’s Guardian Council. The justices already wander into American-ayatollah territory too often, and it is only shame that constrains them. It is impossible to overstate the damage this is doing to our constitutional order, and to the legitimacy of the federal government itself.
What is worse — if something can in fact be worse — is that Mrs. Clinton seeks to unmoor the Supreme Court from the Constitution in order to pursue her own repressive and self-interested political program, namely the censorship of publications, organizations, and institutions that are critical of her.
Lost in all of the deeply stupid rhetoric (“Money isn’t speech!”) surrounding the Citizens United case is the fundamental issue that was at question, to wit whether the federal government can censor films of which it disapproves. The film in question was called Hillary: The Movie, and it was very critical of Mrs. Clinton while she was seeking the Democratic nomination in 2008. The government attempted to forbid the distribution of the film on the grounds that it was critical of a political figure, which was at the time impermissible, under what is cynically known as “campaign finance” law, unless done in strict compliance with narrow and restrictive federal regulations, and then only at certain times. The Supreme Court rightly threw the law behind that out as rankly unconstitutional censorship of political speech.
“What those beef-witted partisans who abuse the word “liberal” fail to appreciate is that the principle behind the so-called campaign-finance laws they support is an open-ended power of federal censorship of all political speech, journalism, literature, films, television, radio, and other communication. Some of the more sinister forces on the left understand that perfectly well, and the glee with which Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders present the proposal of silencing their political critics is both astounding and horrifying. . .”

Paul Gregory, NRO: “Clinton’s E-mails: The Gift That Keeps on Giving to Vladimir Putin”

“An openly corrupt and weakened President Clinton may be exactly what Putin wants.

“The mainstream media is an accomplice in the Clinton campaign’s diversion from her e-mail scandal to Donald Trump’s alleged crude behavior. As the generally anti-Trump Wall Street Journal puts it: “It’s almost impossible to turn on the TV without hearing about Trump’s ‘lewd’ comments while coverage of Hillary uniformly ignores the flurry of bombshells inherent in the various WikiLeaks, FOIA releases and FBI interviews.” Do any questions of media bias remain after this election?

“The media’s justification for ignoring bombshell leaks is that the Kremlin orchestrated the hacks as part of a campaign to elect Donald Trump; therefore, the press should ignore information, even if true, with such unsavory origins. Meanwhile the holier-than-though media rushed to publish a stolen Trump partial tax return (Another third-rate burglary by an overzealous campaign team? I guess no one cares) and to give an open mic to unvetted women lining up to accuse Trump of groping.

“If the U.S. media is doing its best to look the other way, the Russian media is gorging itself on the WikiLeak revelations of Hillary Clinton’s misdeeds. The Russian search term for “Hillary Clinton Corruption” has 588,000 entries covering “queen of corruption,” Qatar bribes, selling high government offices, FBI corruption, Hillary’s lying, and her corrupt campaign. The Kremlin treats the publication of Hillary’s mega-bucks speeches to Wall Street fat cats as the ignored Holy Grail of American journalism. Russian commentators claim these speeches prove that the U.S. is run by a Wall Street–Washington D.C.–Hollywood conglomerate as Hillary lies to her black, Hispanic, and single-women supporters about being on their side.
“The Russian media also enjoy directing jabs at Hillary: One of the Kremlin’s favorite outlets reminds readers that, if anyone has expressed sympathy for Putin and the Kremlin in the past, it is Clinton not her alleged pro-Kremlin rival. An obscure Russian website (a preferred vehicle for such Kremlin messages) earlier described the Kremlin buying off the Podesta brothers (John is Hillary’s campaign manager) to avoid “having all its eggs in one basket.” Like businessman Trump says: The system is rigged. You have to pay both sides to win. Why shouldn’t the Kremlin play the same game, they ask? Russian commentators also deride prudish America for allowing the subject of potty-mouth talk to dominate a national election. They ask: And these are the people who are supposed to lead the free world?

Daniel Henninger, WSJ: Dumb & Dumber

“This is what’s going to happen to U.S. education if Hillary Clinton wins.

“It’s time to send the sniffer dogs into the rubble of America’s 2016 presidential election to see if there’s anything worth saving. We’ve learned some important things. We have learned that at the lower end of the income scale, the white vote is broken, or more accurately, brokenhearted. Many middle-class white voters are angry over a system they say has failed them.

“They aren’t the only ones. America’s inner cities, its poorest neighborhoods, are increasingly on edge. One of these days, they could blow on the scale of the 1960s.

“Much of this has to do with dismal job prospects, and better growth is part of the answer. But there’s a bigger problem than growth—the diminished state of American education.

“Without an education upgrade that matches learning skills with modern jobs, all these people will still lose ground, and personal behavior will continue to degrade.

“No better source of information exists on this than employers, especially manufacturers, who say U.S. schools, notwithstanding claims of improved “graduation” rates, are not producing sufficient numbers of workers able to perform at the level they need for the realities of the 21st century workplace. Apparently the universal skill of being able to manipulate a cellphone to take a selfie isn’t enough.

“During a September visit to a charter school in a black neighborhood on Cleveland’s east side,Donald Trump said, ‘I will be the nation’s biggest cheerleader for school choice,’ and an advocate for merit pay “so that we reward our best teachers instead of the failed tenure system that rewards bad teachers and punishes the good ones.”

“He at least will say publicly that the U.S. public education system just doesn’t work anymore for too many people. . .”

Mark Levin 10/20/16

“On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, Dan Bongino, Contributing Editor at Conservative Review, fills in for Mark. Isn’t it even remotely concerning that some people are willing to risk their jobs and reputations to say Hillary Clinton is a unique threat to our constitutional republic? They are risking their livelihoods, because they genuinely believe she would be bad for the country. The contempt she has for men and women in uniform has extended to her having contempt in the process of government. Though she does have respect for power.

“After that, in Wednesday’s debate, Hillary says she won’t add a penny to the national debt. She is not telling the truth and her claim is unsubstantiated. Even if you cut out the FBI, Secret Service and all discretionary spending, the budget would barely be balanced. For her to not add a penny to the national debt with no noticeable cuts is impossible. Also, Hillary claims that she supports the 2nd Amendment, but that is not true. She is a gun grabber of the highest order and wants to disarm Americans. In addition, liberals don’t care about policy, they just want control. They don’t care about health care but want to control it and won’t relinquish control of public schools.”
