Janet: Sample Ballot

Here is a list of districts in Chester County to see your sample ballot for Nov. 8. Please note the second page! Vote NO on this item. They are trying to increase the retirement age of judges. (Their next job?)

The Pa. Constitution already has a mandatory retirement age of 70!

On the Montgomery ballot it’s the question on the right side.

It’s OK under Sharia to lie to unbelievers. But BO already knows that.

4:05PM ET – Nigel Farage, is a UKIP Member of European Parliament for the South East of England, and was the campaign leader for the Brexit movement. With the recent vote for the UK to leave the European Union, known to the world now as Brexit has been talked about as the indicator for the United States election. Will the US break away from the elitist, removed establishment and vote for Donald Trump? Nigel Farage recently spoke to a member of the MSM, CNBC, and had the following to say:
‘As an anti-establishment campaigner in Britain for two decades, I have seen the establishment in my country cheat,” he said. “I understand Trump’s frustration, taking on the establishment. But I would suggest this to Donald Trump, he needs to move it on.’
Trump should say something like win or lose he would ‘drain the swamp’ and work for election reform in America, Farage said. ‘Then he can turn that comment a little positive.’ . . . ”

Rushbo: “Obamacare Failure and Lies Revealed by WikiLeaks Should Disqualify Democrats”

“RUSH: The things that are substantive today to focus on, I must tell you that this Obamacare story is it.  It’s everything that we are up against.  It is proof positive of the guaranteed implosion of this country and our economy and failure of the Clinton administration if she wins.  Obamacare encapsulates all of it.

The abject lies to get it passed, the lies after it began to fail, and now the undeniable, out-of-control cost increases.  And you want to know how these are being dealt with?  Democrats left and right say, “It’s a bump in the road, okay? So there’s some premium increases.  It was never gonna be smooth as silk.”  Oh, no!  You people don’t get to get away with that.  You promised everybody $2,500-a-year premium reductions.  You promised everybody the moon here.

“You told them if they liked their doctor and plan they could keep it.  You promised everybody… A lot of people thought you were promising ’em free health care, or free insurance.  You promised a lot of things, and you led people to believe a bunch of things that were never gonna happen. So now the bumps in the road?  And look, let’s make another acknowledgment here.  There are even some people who are coming forth and saying, “Rush, you’re not quite right.

“The Obamacare plan was not designed purposely to fail, to get to single payer.  These people, Obama and Jon Gruber and whoever else, they actually thought this would work.  That’s what everybody’s missing, Rush.  They actually thought command-and-control health care and market economies by a bunch of theoreticians from the faculty lounge would actually work, and they’re as shocked as anybody that it isn’t working.”

“There is that prevailing view.  I don’t care which.  Whether this is designed to fail to facilitate single payer and national health care, or whether it’s just plain old incompetence and out-of-touch inability to know what happens in markets, the bottom line is these people do not knowing what they are doing. . .”

Sarah Westwood, Washington Examiner: “WikiLeaks memo exposes ‘Bill Clinton Inc.’”

“Bill Clinton may have leveraged his family’s foundation to secure a lucrative partnership with a Dubai-based company, further blurring the lines between the Clintons’ personal finances and their philanthropic empire.

“The detail emerged in a memo written by longtime Clinton confidante Doug Band in 2011 that was released Wednesday by WikiLeaks. In it, Band described the work of his newly founded consulting firm, Teneo Strategies, as convincing clients to donate to the Clinton Foundation.

“Band acknowledged the “unorthodox nature” of his and fellow foundation staffer Justin Cooper’s relationships to Clinton over the years, as both aides had served overlapping roles at the foundation and in pursuit of personal profit for the Clinton family.

“”Independent of our fundraising and decision-making activities on behalf of the Foundation, we have dedicated ourselves to helping the President secure and engage in for-profit activities – including speeches, books, and advisory service engagements,” Band wrote. . .”

Andrew McCarthy, NRO: Clinton Transmitted Classified Information to Her Lawyers”

“What was their security-clearance level? What was the legal rationale under which Hillary Clinton quite intentionally shared classified information with her lawyers, including David Kendall, Cheryl Mills, and Heather Samuelson? As I outlined in last weekend’s column, we know that Clinton’s e-mails were replete with classified information. According to the FBI, the classified e-mails included intelligence graded at the most closely guarded level: eight top-secret e-mails, and seven designated as ‘special access program’ (SAP) information. (While FBI director James Comey’s presentation understandably left this vague, the likelihood is that seven of the eight top-secret e-mails are SAP.) Under President Bill Clinton’s 1995 executive order, top-secret intelligence is information the mishandling of which ‘could be expected to cause exceptionally grave damage to the national security.’ The SAP designation is added when the unauthorized disclosure of intelligence could compromise critical intelligence-gathering methods or imperil the lives of intelligence sources.

“That is why access to this information is so tightly restricted, and its unauthorized disclosure is routinely prosecuted.

“With that as our backdrop, let’s get two things straight.

“First, there is no lawyer exception to the federal criminal law that prohibits the transmission of classified information to unauthorized persons. When the government gives an official a security clearance, that does not mean any lawyer whom the official retains derivatively has one, too. The laws that make it a felony to transmit classified information to a person not authorized to have it apply whether the official transmits such information to the technician who services her private e-mail server or to her lawyers.
“Second, merely having a security clearance — even a top-secret security clearance — does not make a person an authorized recipient of all classified information. Dissemination of a great deal of government intelligence, particularly if it is designated as SAP, is restricted to those officials who have been read into the program because they have a government-certified need to know the information in order to perform their duties. . .”

Lachlan Markay, Free Beacon; “Clinton Aide’s Memo Details Ties between Consulting Firm and Clinton Foundation”

“The overlap between Hillary Clinton’s State Department, her family’s foundation, and a consulting firm run by members of her inner circle has reaped a windfall for all involved, steering tens of millions of dollars to the Clinton family and generating lucrative contracts for a consulting practice run by a close confidante, an internal memo reveals.

“The 2011 memo, authored by Clinton confidante Doug Band, reveals for the first time the precise financial flows between the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, Band’s firm Teneo Consulting, and the Clinton family’s private business endeavors.

“The Band memo also provides additional details on the specific relationships between his consulting clients, which include multinational corporations and deep-pocketed foundations, and the Clinton family’s business and charitable efforts.

“Band sent the memo to Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta, then the president of the left-wing Center for American Progress, in a November 2011 email. It was one of thousands released by Wikileaks after hackers believed to be acting in concert with the Russian government breached Podesta’s email account.

“At the time the memo was written, Bill Clinton had four existing business “arrangements,” Band wrote. ‘We secured all of them; and, we have helped manage and maintain all of his for-profit business relationships.’ . . .”

Joel Pollak, Big Govt: “Robert Creamer Says He Was on Calls With Clinton Campaign ‘Every Morning’”

“Disgraced Democratic operative Robert Creamer participated in daily calls with the Hillary Clinton campaign, and worked directly with President Barack Obama to organize “issue campaigns.”

Creamer makes the admissions in the latest undercover video release from James O’Keefe and Project Veritas, which captured Creamer describing his activities.

“O’Keefe also reports that Creamer accepted a foreign donation for a Democratic super PAC.

“In the video, Creamer explains to a Project Veritas journalist that he works for the Clinton campaign and is in charge of “overseeing” activities at the Trump rallies: “I mean frankly I spend most of my time overseeing the Trump event rallies, I mean that’s what I do for the Clinton campaign.“

“Last week, O’Keefe showed how Creamer and his Democracy Partners firm have been using a technique called “bird-dogging” to incite violence at Trump rallies and other Republican events for more than a year. . .”

John Hayward, Breitbart: “Schweizer: Obama’s DOJ ‘Transferring Money to Left-wing Groups’ ‘to Influence This Election’”

“On Wednesday’s edition of Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXMClinton Cash author and Government Accountability Institute (GAI) President Peter Schweizer discussed the latest GAI report report about the Obama Justice Department’s funneling of money to left-wing groups using fines levied against financial institutions.

Breitbart Editor-in-Chief and SiriusXM host Alex Marlow described the report as exposing the Justice Department of “quite literally extorting companies to fund left-wing activists.”

“When I first joined Breitbart,” Schweizer recalled, “There was a scandal called Pigford where the federal government was basically taking taxpayer money and giving it to people who were claiming to be victims who were not victims and giving them billions of dollars. This is in that tradition.”

“He explained:

‘What’s really happening here is simple. You’ve got large financial institutions on Wall Street, you’ve got banks like Bank of America, who have in some cases committed financial crimes. I think some of them are real, some of them may not be, but set that aside for a minute. The Department of Justice has gone after them and basically said, ‘You committed these offenses, you’ve got to pay restitution in the form of billions of dollars.’ Okay, they committed the crime, they ought to pay that.

‘Now, ostensibly that money, those billions of dollars, are supposed to go to the victims of their financial crimes. If your Wall Street broker committed fraud, you’re supposed to be made whole with this money, and the rest of it is supposed to go to taxpayers.

‘The problem is the Obama Justice Department has been diverting literally more than $650 million to left-wing groups. They do it under the guise of, “Well, you know, if this bank discriminated against lenders racially, we’re going to give this money to these left-wing quote-unquote housing groups to help deal with the problem.’

“But that’s not what’s going on. These housing groups are advocacy groups. They’re left-wing organizations. They are registering voters and getting voters out to the voting booth. And they specifically target what they call quote-unquote progressive voters. . .”

Roger Simon, PJM: “Term Limits for the Media?”

“Now that Donald Trump has reopened the subject of term limits for Congress in his Gettysburg speech, it’s time to turn to the subject of term limits for a group that may need them even more — the media.

“The moment couldn’t be more auspicious since WikiLeaks has just exposed 65 “journalists“–coming from such august names in the field as The New York TimesThe New YorkerThe Washington Post, the Associated Press, Bloomberg, Reuters, CNN, ABC, CBS, and NBC– who were at some level in cahoots with the Hilary Clinton presidential campaign.

“Does anyone doubt this number will grow?  Of course not, although it already encompasses almost all the prominent brands in the mainstream media.

“But, you might ask, just because many of the reporters, broadcasters and pundits involved have worked, in many instances, for the same organizations for decades, far longer than most politicians have been in office and certainly longer than even two-term presidents, how can we “term limit” them? They are not, after all,  government workers employed by the taxpayer and this is a capitalist country, at least for the moment.

“Well, it’s quite simple, really. We simply call them what they are. They are not journalists in any real sense. They are public relations people — sometimes known, pejoratively, as flacks. . .”

Rasmussen: “More Voters Than Ever Want Term Limits for Congress”

“Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is calling for term limits on members of Congress even though his party currently controls both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Voters agree more strongly than ever with the need for term limits but also still doubt Congress will go along with them.

“A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 74% of Likely U.S. Voters favor establishing term limits for all members of Congress. Just 13% are opposed, while just as many (13%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

“The survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on October 20 and 23, 2016 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC. See methodology.

“US conducting drills near Russia

After accepting a Pentagon proposal, Norway will host US Marines at a base near the Russian border as Russia deploys nuclear-capable ships to Kaliningrad.

“A rotating force of approximately 330 Marines will be stationed at an airfield in the city of Vaernes, just outside Trondheim, beginning in January. Norway and Russia share an 122-mile border in the Arctic.

“The US initiative to augment their training and exercises in Norway by locating a Marine Corps Rotational Force in Norway is highly welcome and will have positive implications for our already strong bilateral relationship,” said Norwegian Defense Minister Ine Eriksen Søreide. . .”

Chris Brennan, “Pa.’s chief elections official calls it ‘unpatriotic’ to claim process is ‘rigged’”

“”To say that, to create doubt or perhaps to intimidate voters, is unpatriotic,” Cortes said in a conference call with reporters from across the state. “It is not a fact. It is irresponsible and it is dangerous.”

“Trump’s campaign in Pennsylvania quickly responded with a statement: “In Pennsylvania, voting irregularity isn’t a myth.”

“That statement cited a 1994 federal court case that eventually overturned a state Senate race in Philadelphia. In that case, absentee ballots were the source of voter fraud.

“It also cites four Democratic elections officials prosecuted in 2015 for adding six votes to a ballot machine in the 2014 election to make the totals match the number of voters who had signed in that day.

“Cortes said the state had the ‘procedures, technology, and protocols’ in place to safeguard elections, but he conceded voter fraud sometimes happens.

“‘It’s not pervasive,’ Cortes said.

“Trump, at Pennsylvania rallies, has called on his supporters to travel to Philadelphia to observe voting on Election Day. . .”

Leo Knepper, CAP: “UPDATE: Frankenpension Should Frighten Lawmakers and Taxpayers”

UPDATE: On Monday, the Independent Fiscal Office (IFO) released their analysis of the Conference Committee Amendment (A10803) to SB 1071. The IFO report confirms what we said last week (see below). According to the IFO, the Amendment would result in relatively little benefit to taxpayers. “The headline number that Sen. Pat Browne, architect of this amendment, will trot out is a $2.6 billion savings over the next 30 years. And, that certainly sounds impressive until you consider that figure in terms of present day dollars. When looked at in terms of today’s dollars, the savings amounts to $209.3 million or 0.37 percent of the current unfunded liability.

“When dealing with numbers of this magnitude, it is often helpful to scale them back to something more manageable. Let’s say you owe $56,300 on your mortgage, and you want to save some money to pay toward that amount. Would a one-time payment of $207 make any meaningful dent in what you owe the bank?

“The answer is obviously “No.” $207 would only pay a fraction of the interest. However, that is the savings that the Conference Committee is offering Pennsylvania taxpayers and Senate leadership wants a ticker tape parade to celebrate it. From what we’ve been told, Senator Browne plans on enlisting the Pew Charitable Trust to rerun the numbers. Pew would not be bound by actuarial rules, like the IFO, and we would expect their “savings” number to be remarkable higher. The difference would largely be due to moving the goal posts.

“Given the absurd lengths the General Assembly is going to in order to move the legislation, it makes us wonder if it’s real purpose is not to set up a Republican Representative or Senator for a gubernatorial run in 2018. At the same time, it would give the Governor a bipartisan “success” to include in his reelection efforts. . .”

Mark Levin, 10/26/16

“On Wednesday’s Mark Levin show, President Obama and his Obamacare experts have been lying to the American people all along about the destructive nature of their signature health care plan. Now, it is all unraveling right before our eyes and we’re stuck with it. Premiums are set to go up in Arizona by 116%, Tennessee by 63% in Oklahoma by 69% and will increase by a lot in other states. This is highway robbery and it’s not like the service is getting any better. Hospitals, doctors, patients and insurance companies are struggling. The only one getting richer as a result of Obamacare this is the government.

“Also, the healthcare exchanges are going under. However, when the planners fail it’s never there fault. If the people don’t fall in line they need to be punished according to them. Experts like Jonathan Gruber are telling us Obamacare is great, think they know better, but they don’t. If Hillary Clinton is elected folks like Jonathan Gruber will be all over the government.

“To add, we will have huge entitlements that we will never be able to get rid of. We can’t take much more of this. Some of us aren’t going to sit on sidelines and cast a vote for someone who will lose. The only effective vessel we have is Donald Trump to fight Hillary Clinton. The moral and principled thing to do is to stop Hillary. It doesn’t mean we support Trump blindly, but Hillary is a leftist and unindicted felon. This cronyism and corruption will be moved into the Oval Office if Hillary gets in.

“Also, the Fox News Channel is imploding and Megyn Kelly is out of control. In an interview with Newt Gingrich she implies Donald Trump is a sexual predator. She claims to support women but she doesn’t. She didn’t help any victims of sexual assault with her TV show and could not even acknowledge that Bill Clinton is sexual predator. Her purpose in attacking Trump is just one of self-aggrandizement and self-promotion.

“Finally, Sen. Ron Johnson calls in to talk about his reelection campaign in Wisconsin.”
