Janet: April 5th, CFL/VFP
Friends, this is Citizens for Liberty/Valley Forge Patriots last event at the fire company until October(we will be hosting numerous outdoor activities in between times). We hope you join us on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5:
*Concerned Veterans 4 America’s mission statement:
To advocate for policies that will preserve the freedom and liberty that we and our families so proudly fought and sacrificed to defend.
The goal of Concerned Veterans for America is to translate the experience, concerns and hopes unique to veterans and their families into a common vision of freedom. We apply this unique perspective to speak out on issues that threaten to cripple not only our economic and national security, but the spirit of opportunity and liberty that all Americans cherish.
We are driven to organize and amplify that perspective to both the American people and our leaders in Washington.
*Northeast Church Security Network:
To provide a PRO-ACTIVE, HANDS-ON approach to places of worship security. To teach individuals the proper technique(s) for said action during an active shooter situation, a violent disruption, and a life threatening medical emergency. A unique emergency preparedness/first aid kit is needed for these instances. We explain exactly HOW to use, for example, a tourniquet, in such a dire situation. And to explain a proper evacuation procedure without causing harm or havoc.
-Now that we know the horrors and the amount of places of worship violence, even in our OWN communities, let us find out what we can EXACTLY do!
*Personal Emergency Preparedness/First Aid 101.
For home and outdoor use.
We will find out exactly what a “bug out” bag is, and what it should contain. What if you and your loved ones were forced out of your home due to a community or personal catastrophe? This, as well as other man-made, and environmental disaters will be addressed, and how to cope. A brief first aid lesson will be provided, as well as what plants are edible and poisonous, and what can be used if no medical emergency kit is available for your immediate use. This is an interactive presentation.
Our keynote speakers:
-Eve Allen; Director: Concerned Veterans 4 America-PA
-David Outland; Director: Northeast Church Security Network
-James Zerbe; Partner, Senior Board Member, Sergeant-at-Arms, Chaplain: Citizens for Liberty
-7-9p.m. (doors open at 6:30)
-Included is a free potluck dinner buffet (feel free to bring a snack, dish, or simply enjoy. Plus a ticket, upon entrance, for 1 of 2 fabulous random door prizes)
-Cash bar available for non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Self serve coffee
-We are beginning our summer food drive. You are encouraged to bring (but in no way mandatory) non-perishable food(s) and beverages. These will be given to needy families within the 5 county area(s) when applicable.
-This is Citizens for Liberty/Valley Forge Patriots final event at the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company, 170 Allendale Road, until October, when we return with a BANG! We will be holding many outdoor activities each month, in between this respite. Please share this with your family and friends in the tri-state area. YES! We have guests that attend from MD, DE, NJ, and NY. -Thank you.
Janet: Obama Care:
There are no more excuses for not repealing Obamacare. Establishment Republicans are, nonetheless, dragging their feet on what was a major campaign promise. We are hearing that liberals are calling Congress in massive numbers to ensure the survival of socialist medicine and the ‘death panel’. Conservatives must act asap.
The deadline to repeal Obamacare, with the reconciliation process that allows passage in the Senate with only 51 votes (Republicans have 52), is April 28, 2017.
Please be aware that repeal must come first, then, replace. A transition period is included in the repeal effort that gives Obamacare insurers and insured the time to transition to a replacement plan. Combining repeal and replace significantly jeopardizes the repeal process.

Victor Davis Hanson, NRO: “The Russian Farce”
“. . . In March 2012, in a meeting with President Dimitri Medvedev of Russia, President Barack Obama thought his microphone was either off or could not pick up the eerie assurances that he gave the Russian president:
“On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him [Vladimir Putin] to give me space.”
Medvedev answered: “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you . . . ”
Obama agreed and elaborated, “This is my last election. After my election, I have more flexibility.”
“Barack Obama naturally wanted to continue a fourth year of his reset and outreach to Vladimir Putin, the same way that he was reaching out to other former American enemies such as the Iranians and the Cubans. Yet Obama was uneasy that his opponent, Mitt Romney, might attack him during his reelection campaign as an appeaser of Putin. Thus, to preempt any such attack, Obama might be forced to appear less flexible (offer less “space”) toward Putin than he otherwise would be in a non-election year. In other words, he couldn’t publicly assure Putin that he would be “flexible” about implementing missile defense in Eastern Europe (“all these issues”) until after he was reelected.
“An apprehensive Obama, in his hot-mic moment, was signaling that after his anticipated victory, he would revert to his earlier reset with Putin. And most significantly, Obama wished Putin to appreciate in advance the motives for Obama’s campaign-year behavior. Or he at least hoped that Putin would not embarrass him by making international moves that would reflect poorly on Obama’s reset policy.
“Furthermore, Obama did not want his implicit quid pro quo proposal to become part of the public record. Had it been public, it might have been interpreted as a message to Putin that he should empathize with Obama’s plight — and that he should interfere with the American election by behaving in a way that would empower Obama’s candidacy rather than detract from it.
“In the present hysterical climate, substitute the name Trump for Obama, and we would be hearing Democratic demands for impeachment on grounds that Trump was caught secretly whispering to the Russians about compromising vital national-security issues in a quid pro quo meant to affect the outcome of the 2012 election.. .”
NRO Editors: “Reining in Sanctuary Cities”
“On Monday, Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced that to be eligible for Department of Justice grant money, local jurisdictions will have to certify that they are in compliance with federal immigration law. This has come as an outrage to elected officials in several “sanctuary cities,” including Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York, who have declared plans to buck the administration and potentially sue.
“The attorney general’s announcement is, in reality, not news. He has simply reiterated an element of President Trump’s executive order aimed at “enhancing public safety in the interior of the United States,” signed on January 25.
“And the law is on his side. The relevant statute reads:
‘Notwithstanding any other provision of Federal, State, or local law, a Federal, State, or local government entity or official may not prohibit, or in any way restrict, any government entity or official from sending to, or receiving from, the Immigration and Naturalization Service information regarding the citizenship or immigration status, lawful or unlawful, of any individual.’
“To be clear, this is not a blanket prohibition on all policies associated with sanctuary cities. “But localities that specifically forbid their officials to provide information to federal immigration authorities are violating the black-and-white letter of the law. A report from the Department of Justice’s inspector general last year found that sanctuary cities such as Chicago are running afoul of this statute. It is entirely appropriate for the federal government to make law-enforcement funding conditional on jurisdictions not themselves ignoring the law. . .”
Paul Gattis, Alabama.com: “Rep. Mo Brooks files bill to repeal Obamacare”
“With a simple two-page document, an Alabama congressman has filed a bill in the U.S. House of Representatives to repeal Obamacare.
“Or, as it is stated in the bill, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
“U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks, R-Huntsville, introduced the bill Friday.
“This Act may be cited as the ‘Obamacare Repeal Act,'” the bill states.
“And the bill uses just one sentence to do it.
“Effective as of Dec. 31, 2017, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is repealed, and the provisions of law amended or repealed by such Act are restored or revived as if such Act had not been enacted,” the bill states.
“And that’s it – one sentence.”
Jordain Carney, The Hill: “Senate braces for fallout over Supreme Court fight”
“Senators in both parties are gearing up for a showdown over Neil Gorsuch’s Supreme Court nomination.
“Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) confidently predicted on Tuesday that the Senate would confirm Gorsuch on April 7, before lawmakers leave town for a two-week recess.
“But as Democratic opposition grows, leaders are signaling they’re prepared to push the chamber to the edge as President Trump’s pick comes up for a vote — even if it means using the “nuclear option” to change the Senate’s rules.
“We’re going to get Judge Gorsuch confirmed,” McConnell told reporters during a weekly press conference. “It’ll be an opportunity for the Democrats to invoke cloture. We’ll see where that ends.”
“Pressed on if he would have the votes within his conference should Democrats initially block Gorsuch’s nomination, McConnell said he was “confident” the judge will join the Supreme Court. . .”
Andrew Dalton, AP: “FELONY CHARGES FOR 2 WHO SECRETLY FILMED PLANNED PARENTHOOD”
Who replaced Gosnell?
“LOS ANGELES (AP) — California prosecutors on Tuesday charged two anti-abortion activists who made undercover videos of themselves trying to buy fetal tissue from Planned Parenthood with 15 felonies, saying they invaded the privacy of medical providers by filming without consent.
“The charges against David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt of the Center for Medical Progress come eight months after similar charges were dropped in Texas.
“State Attorney General Xavier Becerra, a longtime Congressional Democrat who took over the investigation in January, said in a statement that the state “will not tolerate the criminal recording of conversations.”
“Prosecutors say Daleiden, of Davis, California, and Merritt, of San Jose, filmed 14 people without permission between October 2013 and July 2015 in Los Angeles, San Francisco and El Dorado counties. One felony count was filed for each person. The 15th was for criminal conspiracy to invade privacy. . .”
Andrew McCarthy, NRO: In the Nunes Affair, Don’t Lose Sight of the Unanswered Questions”
“Aspects of the FBI’s handling of the Flynn case deserve further scrutiny.
“Let us stipulate that it would be difficult for House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R., Calif.) and the Trump White House to have handled a critical intelligence matter any worse.
“Still, the questions Nunes has raised are more important than the fact that he shot himself in the foot while pursuing the answers.
“The chairman says he was invited by an unidentified intelligence official to review classified documents on the White House grounds — at the Old Executive Office Building, it appears, where the National Security Council has secure facilities for that purpose. These documents purportedly show that communications from Trump transition officials, and perhaps Trump himself, were intercepted during intelligence-agency monitoring of foreign powers; and Nunes says the monitoring in question appears unrelated to Russia’s meddling in the U.S. election.
“Nunes reports that the documents he was shown suggest that the Obama administration may have been using its foreign-intelligence powers to shadow the incoming Trump team. Though the communications in question were lawfully intercepted, Nunes suggests that the identities of Trump officials should have been “masked” (i.e., concealed) under standard minimization rules that guide the dissemination of classified foreign intelligence throughout the “community” of U.S. intelligence agencies. Instead, the identities of the Trump officials were revealed and widely transmitted to people with no apparent need to know about the officials’ communications — some of which, in Nunes’s description, had “little or no apparent foreign-intelligence value.”
“Nunes’s account cannot be verified because the documents he reviewed have not been disclosed, nor reviewed by anyone else who is talking. Meanwhile, rather than first sharing what he learned with members of the important committee he chairs, Nunes went to the White House to brief President Trump.
“This is bizarre for two reasons. . .”
Breitbart News: “Politico: Pruitt Takes Fire from Conservatives on Climate Showdown”
“A cadre of conservative climate skeptics are fuming about the decision — expressing their concern to Trump administration officials and arguing Pruitt is setting himself up to run for governor or the Senate. They hope the White House, perhaps senior adviser Stephen Bannon, will intervene and encourage the president to overturn the endangerment finding.
“James Delingpole, a Breitbart News columnist, blasted Pruitt on Monday, arguing he is ‘more interested in building his political career than he is taking on the Green Blob, insiders report.’ Bannon ran Breitbart before joining the Trump campaign last summer.
Delingpole, who first reported that Pruitt advocated against reopening the endangerment finding, even suggested that the EPA administrator should resign. . .”
John Hayward, Breitbart: “Putin Detains Opposition Leaders as Anti-Corruption Protests Sweep Russia”
“. . . The weekend protests were unexpectedly huge, with thousands turning out in St. Petersburg, Vladivostok, and Moscow. The Associated Press reports 5,000 demonstrators in St. Petersburg and 8,000 in Moscow but allows that the crowds could have been larger than these official police estimates. The UK Guardian cites an estimate from Russian radio station Ekho Moskvy that 60,000 Russians from 82 cities and towns participated in the protests. There appears to be a consensus they were the biggest protests faced by the Kremlin since 2011.
“Varying estimates by police and human-rights groups said anywhere from 500 to over 1,000 people were detained over the weekend. One of them was Navalny, who promptly posted a selfie of his arrival in the courtroom on Twitter. “Hello everyone from Tverskoy Court. The time will come when we will have them on trial (only honestly),” he wrote. . .””
Jeremiah Johnson, InfoWars: “THE TRANSFORMATION OF OUR NATION INTO A SURVEILLANCE STATE IS ALMOST COMPLETE”
“1984 is now. Orwell warned us all.
“. . . Point of Sale is the new jail, the ubiquitous surveillance system that records your every purchase and stores it in a personal database – an algorithm – in the government storage facility in Utah. Look above that register. It doesn’t matter whether you have a debit or credit purchase or not. Paying cash? Your anonymity only lasts until your image is captured in the little black dome camera right above your head – right next to the register. The sale is recorded, as well as your image.
“Now the biometrics are becoming advanced enough to be able to measure the spacing between your eyes, the shapes of the ears, and other idiosyncrasies that are peculiar to each individual. But these differences do not matter, as long as they can be catalogued. All the states pretty much have Real ID, now, with driver’s licenses all linked into a central database and passed through the fusion centers and police departments at local, state, and national level.
“1984 is now. . .”
Mark Levin 3/28/17
“On Tuesday’s Mark Levin show, so called conservatives, Sens John Cornyn and Mitch McConnell are attacking conservatives and the Freedom Caucus as purists. They should remember it is not about purity, but about integrity. Politicians made a promise, election cycle after election cycle to repeal Obamacare and they lied to the American people and the the Tea Party. You can’t ram through a massive new government spending bill in 18 days and start trashing conservatives when it doesn’t make it through. They have abandoned principles and the Declaration of Independence. The Republican Party has lost its identity. We didn’t hear a peep from Cornyn or McConnell when this replacement bill was in the House, because they wanted it to fail. They were never going to do the heavy lifting necessary to repeal Obamacare.
“After that, why is the House Intelligence Committee chair Devin Nunes under attack? What did he do that created conflict of interest? The media got Mike Flynn to resign and Jeff Sessions to recuse himself and now is trying to humiliate Nunes. Nunes has done nothing wrong and is only helping to expose those who leaked against the Trump administration. It is the Obama admin that should be under investigation not Nunes. We want to know who and the extent to which individuals in that administration were misusing classified info, intelligence agencies and law enforcement agencies.”
