Janet: April 5th, CFL/VFP

Friends, this is Citizens for Liberty/Valley Forge Patriots last event at the fire company until October(we will be hosting numerous outdoor activities in between times). We hope you join us on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 5:

*Concerned Veterans 4 America’s mission statement:

To advocate for policies that will preserve the freedom and liberty that we and our families so proudly fought and sacrificed to defend.

The goal of Concerned Veterans for America is to translate the experience, concerns and hopes unique to veterans and their families into a common vision of freedom. We apply this unique perspective to speak out on issues that threaten to cripple not only our economic and national security, but the spirit of opportunity and liberty that all Americans cherish.

We are driven to organize and amplify that perspective to both the American people and our leaders in Washington.

*Northeast Church Security Network:

To provide a PRO-ACTIVE, HANDS-ON approach to places of worship security. To teach individuals the proper technique(s) for said action during an active shooter situation, a violent disruption, and a life threatening medical emergency. A unique emergency preparedness/first aid kit is needed for these instances. We explain exactly HOW to use, for example, a tourniquet, in such a dire situation. And to explain a proper evacuation procedure without causing harm or havoc.

-Now that we know the horrors and the amount of places of worship violence, even in our OWN communities, let us find out what we can EXACTLY do!

*Personal Emergency Preparedness/First Aid 101.

For home and outdoor use.

We will find out exactly what a “bug out” bag is, and what it should contain. What if you and your loved ones were forced out of your home due to a community or personal catastrophe? This, as well as other man-made, and environmental disaters will be addressed, and how to cope. A brief first aid lesson will be provided, as well as what plants are edible and poisonous, and what can be used if no medical emergency kit is available for your immediate use. This is an interactive presentation.

Our keynote speakers:

-Eve Allen; Director: Concerned Veterans 4 America-PA

-David Outland; Director: Northeast Church Security Network

-James Zerbe; Partner, Senior Board Member, Sergeant-at-Arms, Chaplain: Citizens for Liberty

-7-9p.m. (doors open at 6:30)

-Included is a free potluck dinner buffet (feel free to bring a snack, dish, or simply enjoy. Plus a ticket, upon entrance, for 1 of 2 fabulous random door prizes)

-Cash bar available for non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Self serve coffee

-We are beginning our summer food drive. You are encouraged to bring (but in no way mandatory) non-perishable food(s) and beverages. These will be given to needy families within the 5 county area(s) when applicable.

-This is Citizens for Liberty/Valley Forge Patriots final event at the King of Prussia Volunteer Fire Company, 170 Allendale Road, until October, when we return with a BANG! We will be holding many outdoor activities each month, in between this respite. Please share this with your family and friends in the tri-state area. YES! We have guests that attend from MD, DE, NJ, and NY.   -Thank you.

Janet: Obama Care:

There are no more excuses for not repealing Obamacare. Establishment Republicans are, nonetheless, dragging their feet on what was a major campaign promise. We are hearing that liberals are calling Congress in massive numbers to ensure the survival of socialist medicine and the ‘death panel’. Conservatives must act asap.

The deadline to repeal Obamacare, with the reconciliation process that allows passage in the Senate with only 51 votes (Republicans have 52), is April 28, 2017.

Please be aware that repeal must come first, then, replace. A transition period is included in the repeal effort that gives Obamacare insurers and insured the time to transition to a replacement plan. Combining repeal and replace significantly jeopardizes the repeal process.

Dennis Prager, Townhall: “It’s Time for Conservatives to Celebrate This President”

HT Mike Gallagher

“. . . I remember Never-Trumpers calling my radio show and asking me how I could possibly believe that, if elected president, Trump would honor his commitment to nominate to the Supreme Court one of the conservatives on the list of judges from which he promised to choose.

“He has honored that promise.

“And given the supreme importance of the Supreme Court, isn’t that reason enough for conservatives to celebrate his presidency?

“He has repealed many of President Obama’s energy regulations that would have strangled the American economy. He doesn’t believe that carbon-induced warming of the planet will destroy the human race — the greatest of the innumerable hysterias the left manufactures and then believes in.

“Isn’t that reason enough for conservatives to celebrate his presidency?

“He has appointed a woman who, as a billionaire, could have easily devoted her life to enjoying her wealth but instead has fought for American students and their parents to be able choose their schools just as the wealthy do. And he has taken on the teachers unions, the only group that has ever given American teachers a bad name.

“Isn’t that reason enough for conservatives to celebrate his presidency?

“He has appointed as ambassador to the United Nations a woman who is calling the U.N. the naked emperor that it is. And now, America is backing, rather than subverting, Israel in that benighted institution.

“Isn’t that reason enough for conservatives to celebrate his presidency?

“By building a wall along our southern border, he is reasserting the belief that America actually has borders.

“Isn’t that reason enough for conservatives to celebrate his presidency?

“And then there is tax reduction and simplification so that private citizens can keep more of their money and corporations can be far more productive.

“Isn’t that reason enough for conservatives to celebrate his presidency?

“And now, he has vowed, after decades of American obsequiousness, to confront the sociopathic North Korean regime.

“The American media — most particularly, its elite — no longer even feigns objective reporting. It is solely an arm of the left and the Democratic Party, its task being the delegitimization of the Trump presidency.

“If you live among liberals, it is not chic to express support for President Trump. But it is time more of us did. . .”

“’Susan Rice is the Typhoid Mary of the Obama administration foreign policy,’ Mr. Cotton said, a reference to the 20th century woman who spread typhoid fever in New York. “Every time something went wrong, she seemed to turn up in the middle of it — whether it was these allegations of improper unmasking and potential improper surveillance, whether it was Benghazi or many of the other fiascos of the Obama administration. … The last thing we need are political operatives in the White House fooling around with intelligence to make it harder to pass the laws we need to keep Americans safe.” Tom Cotton

Victor Davis Hanson, NRO: “Journey to the Center of the Country
“. . .Trump seems radical only to the radicals who aim to take America far, far left.

“So far, Trump has adopted the old Bill Clinton approach to illegal immigration, a formerly centrist but now strangely unorthodox position: He favors law enforcement rather than politically inspired amnesties calibrated to give him electoral and demographic political advantage.
“His appeals to the white working classes are right out of the Clinton-Gore appeals in 1992, and they’re a rehash of Reagan’s courting of Democrats.
“Hillary Clinton pandered more to working-class whites in 2008 than Trump did in 2016. “The latter never said something akin to Hillary’s overt boasts about her white support in the 2008 primaries. “I have a much broader base to build a winning coalition on,” she told USA Today, adding that an AP story ‘found how Senator Obama’s support among working, hard-working Americans, white Americans, is weakening again, and how whites in [Indiana and North Carolina] who had not completed college were supporting me.’
“Trump seeks to finish the border wall that was authorized and started by others. And he is called nativist, racist, and worse, largely because between 2009 and 2016 what was extreme was presented not just as the new normal but as the new foundation of something even more radical to come. Trump’s proposed modest cuts in discretionary spending — less than 2 percent of a quarter of the budget — will hardly affect the deficit or the $20 trillion national debt. Nonetheless, Democrats will condemn him as a modern-day Scrooge.

“On energy, Trump again is simply trying to finish the Keystone and Dakota pipelines that were authorized by others. His approach to coal is standard 1990s boilerplate Democratic politics. Sarah Palin’s 2008 mantra of “drill, baby, drill” was smugly written off by then-candidate Obama as Neanderthalism. In fact, she not only proved prescient; she also outlined the eventual energy protocols that saved the Obama presidency. When all of Obama’s efforts failed to achieve 3 percent economic growth, what he opposed — fracking and horizontal drilling — prevented a weak economy from completely tanking.
“Supreme Court nominee Neil Gorsuch is mild-mannered and superbly qualified, and by design he avoids polarization. Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor had far greater records of unapologetic political activism. . .”

Andrew McCarthy, NRO: “Susan Rice’s White House Unmasking: A Watergate-style Scandal”

“Her interest was not in national security but to advance the political interests of the Democratic party.

“The thing to bear in mind is that the White House does not do investigations. Not criminal investigations, not intelligence investigations.

“Remember that.
“Why is that so important in the context of explosive revelations that Susan Rice, President Obama’s national-security adviser, confidant, and chief dissembler, called for the ‘unmasking’ of Trump campaign and transition officials whose identities and communications were captured in the collection of U.S. intelligence on foreign targets?
“Because we’ve been told for weeks that any unmasking of people in Trump’s circle that may have occurred had two innocent explanations: (1) the FBI’s investigation of Russian meddling in the election and (2) the need to know, for purposes of understanding the communications of foreign intelligence targets, the identities of Americans incidentally intercepted or mentioned. The unmasking, Obama apologists insist, had nothing to do with targeting Trump or his people.
“That won’t wash. . .”

Charles Hurt, Washington Times: “Susan Rice somehow manages to make Benghazi cover-up seem minor”

“Well, that explains the deafening silence from President Obama.

All these months, it turns out, it was his right-hand hatchet gal and exposed serial prevaricator Susan Rice who was behind the scenes in his administration working all the levers of the most powerful espionage machine on planet Earth to spy on Mr. Obama’s political enemies.

“This is jaw-dropping, bombshell information.

“Not because it reveals Susan “Benghazi was about a video” Rice to be a liar. We already knew that.

“Not because it exposed the Obama administration as the most nakedly partisan presidency in modern history, willing to use even the most sacred powers of the federal government for political purposes. We already knew that too.

“What is so astonishing about the revelation that Ms. Rice was the one unmasking Donald Trump and his campaign before, during and after he won the presidency is that it doesn’t get any closer to Barack Obama himself. . .”

Katie Williams, The Hill: “Rice denies Obama administration inappropriately unmasked Trump team”

My memory is that Rice, Power, & Hillary initiated the downfall of Gaddffi, Obama was traveling.

“Former national security adviser Susan Rice on Tuesday categorically denied that the Obama administration inappropriately spied on President Trump or members of his transition team.

“The allegation is that somehow, Obama administration officials utilized intelligence for political purposes,” Rice told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell. “That’s absolutely false.”

Rice had requested that at least one Trump transition team member be “unmasked,” Bloomberg View reported Monday, leading to claims that the Obama White House had intended to use that intelligence to damage Trump’s transition.

While Rice did not deny making any such requests — declining to comment on specific reports — she denied that her actions went outside the scope of her job.

Also: Richard Pollock, Daily Caller: “Former US Attorney: Susan Rice Ordered Spy Agencies to Produce ‘Detailed Spreadsheets’ Involving Trump

In response to a question Tuesday from NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell,  former Obama White House National Security Adviser Susan Rice denied that she “prepared” spreadsheets of surveilled telephone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides. The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group, however, reported that Rice “ordered” the spreadsheets to be produced.

“In addition, former U.S. Attorney Joe DiGenova, one of TheDCNF’s sources, said Tuesday in response to Rice that her denial ‘would come as quite a surprise to the government officials who have reviewed dozens of those spreadsheets.’

“Former President Barack Obama’s national security adviser Susan Rice ordered U.S. spy agencies to produce ‘detailed spreadsheets’ of legal phone calls involving Donald Trump and his aides when he was running for president, according to former U.S. Attorney Joseph diGenova.

“What was produced by the intelligence community at the request of Ms. Rice were detailed spreadsheets of intercepted phone calls with unmasked Trump associates in perfectly legal conversations with individuals,” diGenova told The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group Monday. . .”

NY Post: “Fresh evidence the Russia ‘scandal’ is a Team Obama operation

“Do you suspect that the noise over Trump campaign contacts with the Russians is just a political hit arranged by Obama insiders before they left? You got fresh evidence of that Monday, with news that then-national security adviser Susan Rice was behind the “unmasking” of Trumpites in transcripts of calls with Russian officials.

“Again, nothing on the public record so far shows that anyone on Team Trump said anything improper on those calls.

“It’s no surprise that US spooks intercept foreign officials’ calls. But intelligence community reports don’t disclose the names of US citizens on the other end. To get that info, a high official must (but rarely does) push to “unmask” the Americans’ names.

“Bloomberg’s Eli Lake now reports that Rice started doing just that last year.

“That was perfectly legal. But we also know that the Obama administration later changed the classification of the “unmasked” transcripts, and other similar material, in order to spread the information as widely as possible within the government.

“That was perfectly legal. But we also know that the Obama administration later changed the classification of the “unmasked” transcripts, and other similar material, in order to spread the information as widely as possible within the government.

“The motive for that was (supposedly) to prevent Team Trump from burying it all once it took over. But the result was that it made it relatively safe for someone (or someones) to leak the info to the press.

“Which made it likely somebody would leak. So Team Obama’s “spread the info” initiative certainly broke the spirit of the laws.

“Those leaks have produced a nagging political sore for the new administration — leading to the ouster of national security adviser Michael Flynn, helping to drive down President Trump’s approval ratings and making it harder for him to push his program through.

“Rice certainly wasn’t politically naive about the political uses of intelligence information. . .”

Gordon Chang, Daily Beast: “Why Playing Nice With China at Mar-a-Lago Is Dangerous”

“Sometime around the beginning of this decade, a Chinese enterprise affiliated with the People’s Liberation Army supplied North Korea’s military with at least six transporter-erector-launchers for the KN-08 intercontinental ballistic missile. The Obama administration raised an inquiry with Beijing, and the Chinese said they merely provided the chassis for the TELs, as the missile carriers are known. The explanation was implausible as the Chinese vehicles are wider than most of the roads in North Korea’s logging areas.

“Supplying the TELs was significant. The KN-08 is Pyongyang’s first long-range missile that is, practically speaking, a usable weapon: the Chinese vehicles mean the KN-08 can hide before launching. The North’s other long-range missiles take weeks to transport, assemble, fuel, and test and as a result can easily be destroyed while still on their pads.

Beijing’s proliferation, unfortunately but predictably, has continued. China is the most likely source—either directly or through one of its client states—of the plans for its JL-1 submarine-launched missile. The solid-fuel missiles North Korea tested Aug. 24 and Feb. 12 appear to be modeled on the Chinese one.

“Chinese enterprises have in recent years also sold uranium hexafluoride and components—vacuum pumps, valves, and computers—for the North’s nuclear weapons program.

“In short, China has provided technology, equipment, and components to a regime that continually threatens to launch nukes against the American homeland. In these circumstances, it is hard to see how there can be ‘common ground’ with Beijing. . .”

Susan Berry, Big Govt: “Trump at CEO Business Town Hall: ‘Common Core… We Have to End It’”

“At his CEO Business Town Hall Tuesday, President Donald Trump returned to his campaign promise to end the highly unpopular Common Core standards and once again make education policy the domain of local governments.

‘Common Core, I mean, we have to bring education more local,’ Trump said at the White House. ‘We can’t be managing education from Washington.’

“The president continued:

‘When I go out to Iowa, when I go out to the different states and I talk, they want to run their school programs locally and they’ll do a much better job… And I like the fact of getting rid of Common Core. You know, Common Core, to me, we have to end it. We have to bring education local, to me. I’ve always said it, I’ve been saying it during the campaign, and we’re doing it.’ . . .”

The map below contains a listing of public addresses and website links to 607 DPC practice locations in 47 states + DC (we still have not located any DPC practices in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Iowa,).  Website readers should note that these practices met our three part definition of DPC, although they may not always self-describe as DPC.  Both “Pure” DPC practices and DPC hybrids are included in the mapper, and they are now color coded!  I’m happy to report that over 70% of the practices in the mapper are known to be pure.

Mark Levin 04-04-17

“On Tuesday’s Mark Levin show, Which Susan Rice is telling the truth? The one on PBS March 22 or the one on MSNBC Tuesday? Rice completed shifted her prior position from not knowing about any government efforts to unmask American citizens to claiming that she did not unmask Americans for political purposes. The allegation is that somehow, Obama officials used intelligence for political purposes. Rice denies this, but that is exactly what happened. These political appointees were involved in changing rules and other activities. Andy McCarthy of National Review, calls in to talk to discuss Susan Rice’s Watergate style scandal in unmasking names. This is the kind of thing that happens in law enforcement all the time, if they deny it, you can’t catch up with them. Rice is stressing that the intelligence gathering was lawful, which is a defensive ploy on her part to make her actions look right. We should know why she was unmasking this information in the first place.

After that, Michael Doran, former Senior Director in the NSC, calls in to explain more in the investigation into the leaks and his book, “Ike’s Gamble: America’s Rise to Dominance in the Middle East”. When you are unmasking names, it is for a very serious and somber purpose. Unmasking identities is not a routine event. The goal of intercepts is to see what foreigners are up to not American citizens. It is a specious argument that Rice is making.

Later, Chuck Schumer is burning down the U.S. Senate. Schumer will drive his ideological end by any means. He led the battle to filibuster George W. Bush’s appellate court nominees which was unprecedented at the time. This destroyed tradition and weakened the institution. Then when Obama was President he decided to eliminate the filibuster for appellate court and judicial appointees. Now it is coming to a head over Neil Gorsuch where the filibuster will be suspended by republicans. Schumer and Democrats are now blaming Republicans for destroying the Senate, but it was they who started the filibuster and nuclear option, weakening our institutions.”
