Janet: Obama Care:

There are no more excuses for not repealing Obamacare. Establishment Republicans are, nonetheless, dragging their feet on what was a major campaign promise. We are hearing that liberals are calling Congress in massive numbers to ensure the survival of socialist medicine and the ‘death panel’. Conservatives must act asap.

The deadline to repeal Obamacare, with the reconciliation process that allows passage in the Senate with only 51 votes (Republicans have 52), is April 28, 2017.

Please be aware that repeal must come first, then, replace. A transition period is included in the repeal effort that gives Obamacare insurers and insured the time to transition to a replacement plan. Combining repeal and replace significantly jeopardizes the repeal process.

The map below contains a listing of public addresses and website links to 607 DPC practice locations in 47 states + DC (we still have not located any DPC practices in North Dakota, South Dakota, or Iowa,).  Website readers should note that these practices met our three part definition of DPC, although they may not always self-describe as DPC.  Both “Pure” DPC practices and DPC hybrids are included in the mapper, and they are now color coded!  I’m happy to report that over 70% of the practices in the mapper are known to be pure.

Border Wall? Tax Cuts? Health Care?

Jeff Reynolds, PJM: “An Important Legal Ruling against the IRS May Have Huge Implications”

“In a major victory in the ongoing Lois Lerner scandal at the IRS, non-profit election integrity organization True the Vote defeated an IRS motion to quash discovery in True the Vote v. IRS. The ruling means that everyone involved in the scandal could be compelled to submit every document related to the case and be deposed by True the Vote’s legal team.

From their press release:

‘Judge Reggie Walton of U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia just issued a critical order in True the Vote v. IRS case. The order compels the IRS to submit to discovery and depositions, giving True the Vote a long-awaited opportunity to expose the full scope of the discriminatory practices used by the Internal Revenue Service to target and abuse organizations and individuals who expressed political views in opposition to the Obama Administration.

In an exclusive interview, the lawyer representing True the Vote, Jim Bopp, Jr., cheered the ruling:

‘What we have now is an opportunity to find out who did what. The IRS has doggedly fought anyone finding out what happened and how it happened that they launched this comprehensive campaign to attack and undermine and adversely treat Tea Party and other conservative groups. We finally get an opportunity to find out.

“Bopp says that the suit does not seek monetary damages:

‘What we want, of course, is an order by the court to prohibit the IRS from ever discriminating based upon political viewpoint of any organization in how they treat and deal with it.

“Conservative organizations were selected for adverse treatment by the Obama administration and the IRS. . .”

Ann Coulter, BigGovt: “Ann Coulter: Your Choice — A Green America or a Brown America”

She’s gonna speak!

“In celebration of Earth Day this Saturday, let’s review how the Sierra Club sold its soul and screwed the Earth for a $100 million donation. They must hate themselves for it, so why shouldn’t we hate them, too? . . .

“The problem isn’t just the number of people traipsing through our wilderness areas; it’s that primitive societies have no concept of “litter.” That’s a quirk of prosperous societies. The damage to our parks shows these cultural differences.

“Writing in an environmental journal at New York University, Rosa P. Oakes described the “reprehensible” damage being done to “towering cactus, Joshua trees, flowering cactus varieties, colorful wildflowers and rock formations” by illegals. With accompanying photos, she noted that the immigrants’ litter included “abandoned vehicles … used needles, drug paraphernalia, plastic grocery bags, paper products, empty water containers, blankets, clothing, used disposable diapers, among other things.”

“The Mexican cultural trait of littering is apparently well known to everyone — except American journalists.

“As usual, when it comes to anything that reflects negatively on Third World immigrants, you have to be Agatha Christie to get at the truth. If the media can hide Hispanic child rape, it’s child’s play for them to ignore the Hispanic littering problem. . .

Daniel Greenfield, FrontPage: “THE CIVIL WAR IS HERE”

HT Rushbo!

“The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule.

“A civil war has begun.

“This civil war is very different than the last one. There are no cannons or cavalry charges. The left doesn’t want to secede. It wants to rule. Political conflicts become civil wars when one side refuses to accept the existing authority. The left has rejected all forms of authority that it doesn’t control.

“The left has rejected the outcome of the last two presidential elections won by Republicans. It has rejected the judicial authority of the Supreme Court when it decisions don’t accord with its agenda. It rejects the legislative authority of Congress when it is not dominated by the left.

“It rejected the Constitution so long ago that it hardly bears mentioning.

“It was for total unilateral executive authority under Obama. And now it’s for states unilaterally deciding what laws they will follow. (As long as that involves defying immigration laws under Trump, not following them under Obama.) It was for the sacrosanct authority of the Senate when it held the majority. Then it decried the Senate as an outmoded institution when the Republicans took it over.

“It was for Obama defying the orders of Federal judges, no matter how well grounded in existing law, and it is for Federal judges overriding any order by Trump on any grounds whatsoever. It was for Obama penalizing whistleblowers, but now undermining the government from within has become ‘patriotic’.

“There is no form of legal authority that the left accepts as a permanent institution. It only utilizes forms of authority selectively when it controls them. But when government officials refuse the orders of the duly elected government because their allegiance is to an ideology whose agenda is in conflict with the President and Congress, that’s not activism, protest, politics or civil disobedience; it’s treason. . .”

The U.S. Department of Justice may be planning to bring criminal charges against anti-secrecy organization WikiLeaks and its founder Julian Assange, according to numerous reports.

“Sources with knowledge of the matter, who reportedly spoke with CNN and The Washington Post, claim the case surrounds numerous leaks such as recent documents on the CIA’s hacking abilities as well as military files leaked by Chelsea Manning back in 2010.

Charges could include theft of government property, conspiracy or violations of the Espionage Act.

“Prosecutors in recent weeks have been drafting a memo that contemplates charges against members of the WikiLeaks organization…” The Post writes. “The memo, though, is not complete, and any charges against members of WikiLeaks, including founder Julian Assange, would need approval from the highest levels of the Justice Department.”

“CIA-FBI joint investigation examines hundreds of agency employees and contractors

“The leaked data, dubbed “Vault 7” by WikiLeaks, details the CIA’s offensive cyber capabilities and specific attacks against cell phones, computers and smart TVs.

“The joint investigation, run by the CIA and FBI, is looking into hundreds of agency employees and contractors who would have had access to the material.

“Much of the material was classified and stored in a highly secure section of the intelligence agency, but sources say hundreds of people would have had access to the material,” CBS says. “Investigators are going through those names.”

“The Vault 7 data dump, the first documents of which were published in March, has widely been described as the most substantial leak since Edward Snowden.

“Although the CIA has not commented on the authenticity of the documents, experts say they appear to be genuine. . .”

Charles Krauthammer, Investors: “With North Korea, We Do Have Cards to Play”

“The crisis with North Korea may appear trumped up. It’s not.

}Given that Pyongyang has had nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles for more than a decade, why the panic now? Because North Korea is headed for a nuclear breakout. The regime has openly declared that it is racing to develop an intercontinental ballistic missile that can reach the United States — and thus destroy an American city at a Kim Jong Un push of a button.

“The North Koreans are not bluffing. They’ve made significant progress with solid-fuel rockets, which are more quickly deployable and thus more easily hidden and less subject to detection and pre-emption.

At the same time, Pyongyang has been steadily adding to its supply of nuclear weapons. Today it has an estimated 10 to 16. By 2020, it could very well have a hundred. (For context: the British are thought to have about 200.)

“Hence the crisis. We simply cannot concede to Kim Jong Un the capacity to annihilate American cities. . .”

Ju-min Park & Ben Blanchard, Reuters, “South Korea on heightened alert as North readies for army celebration”

“South Korea said on Friday it was on heightened alert ahead of another important anniversary in North Korea, with a large concentration of military hardware amassed on both sides of the border amid concerns about a new nuclear test by Pyongyang.

“U.S. officials said there was a higher-than-usual level of activity by Chinese bombers, signaling a possible heightened state of readiness by Beijing, reclusive North Korea’s sole major ally, although the officials played down concern and left open a range of possible reasons.

“In Russia, a Kremlin spokesman declined to comment on media reports that Russia was moving military hardware and troops toward the border with North Korea, the RIA news agency quoted him as saying.

“U.S. and South Korean officials have been saying for weeks that the North could soon stage another nuclear test in violation of United Nations sanctions, something both the United States and China have warned against…”

Wikipedia: Spratly Islands

Does China keep these if they help us with North Korea?

“.. a disputed group of 14 islands, islets and cays and more than 100 reefs, sometimes grouped in submerged old atolls, in the South China Sea The archipelago lies off the coasts of the PhilippinesMalaysia, and southern Vietnam. Named after the 19th-century British whaling captain Richard Spratly who sighted Spratly Island in 1843, the islands contain approximately 2 km2 (490 acres) of land area spread over a vast area of more than 425,000 km2 (164,000 sq mi).

The Spratlys are one of the major archipelagos in the South China Sea which complicate governance and economics in this part of Southeast Asia due to their location in strategic shipping lanes. The islands have no indigenous inhabitants, but offer rich fishing grounds and may contain significant oil and natural gas reserves, and as such are important to the claimants in their attempts to establish international boundaries. Some of the islands have civilian settlements, but of the approximately 45 islands, cays, reefs and shoals that are occupied, all contain structures that are occupied by military forces from Malaysia, Taiwan (ROC), China (PRC), the Philippines and Vietnam. Additionally, Brunei has claimed an exclusive economic zone in the southeastern part of the Spratlys, which includes the Louisa Reef. . .”

Mark Levin (04-20-17)

“On Thursday’s Mark Levin show, Landmark Legal Foundation has filed a request with the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA). The request asks the secret court to order an investigation into the leaking of surveillance activity conducted on members of Donald Trump’s team, in accordance with the rulings of FISA. The filing cites a flurry of recent published reports that show an enormous amount of leaked classified information has been used for political purposes in opposition to President Trump. Landmark respectfully suggests that the Court direct the government to complete its investigation and report its findings to the Court within 90 days.

Also, Berkeley has reversed its decision and says Ann Coulter can speak after all on its campus. Obviously this is a big deal not just for Coulter but for conservatives everywhere whom the left determines do not have the right to free speech. The left wing leaders who run that university probably heard that the ultimate solution to this is to put down the violent rioters with the CA National Guard. Our solution is the right solution. It is time to meet the force of the left with law enforcement.

Later, John Kennedy had an affair with an East German spy, and many other affairs. Ted Kennedy tried to work with the Soviets to defeat Ronald Reagan. These are monumental scandals, yet the media ignore them. The people who protected John Kennedy, Ted Kennedy, and Bill Clinton are now offended by Bill O’Reilly. The reason why O’Reilly was removed from Fox was because the advertisers left.

Finally, the President today hammered Canada for putting restrictions on US milk coming into the country. However we put restrictions on butter from Ireland. When it comes to protectionism, which industries are going to be protected and which ones won’t? Everybody claims they are doing what they are doing for the worker. Capitalism is what supports workers.”
